📜Server Rules
Welcome to Sanctum Survival! To keep the server friendly, fair, and stable for everyone, all players must follow the rules listed on this page. By playing on the server, you automatically agree to these rules.

1. General Behavior
1.1 Respect Others
Treat all players and staff with respect. Harassment, toxicity, bullying, discrimination, or targeted insulting is not allowed.
If someone is bothering you:
Use /ignore
Report it
Do NOT retaliate
Do not interact with players who have blocked you.
1.2 Keep Chat Clean
Forbidden:
Harassment or personal attacks
Hate speech, discrimination, racism
Excessive swearing
Sexual or NSFW content
Discussions of sensitive topics (politics, religion, self-harm, drugs)
Your nickname, skin, builds, and item names must also remain appropriate.
1.3 No Spamming or Advertising
Do not:
Use excessive capitalization
Send repeated or near-identical messages
Spam random characters (e.g. “asjsfgjgj”)
Advertise servers, Discords, or external content
Use unreadable colored text in chat
1.4 English Only in Global Chat
Other languages are allowed in private messages (/msg).
1.5 Follow Staff Instructions
If you disagree with staff, open a ticket instead of arguing publicly. Staff decisions are final.
1.6 No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be staff or another player using /nick or any other method.

2. Gameplay Rules
2.1 No Griefing or Stealing
Do not damage or steal from other players
Applies in both claimed and unclaimed land
“It wasn’t claimed” is not an excuse
2.2 Claim Rules
Use /claim to protect your area.
Not allowed:
Claiming directly next to someone without permission
Blocking a player's base or expansion
Claim-trapping
Entering or remaining in a claim after being told to leave
Recommended:
Claim before building
Claim slightly beyond your structure to protect your space
2.3 PvP Rules
PvP must be consensual unless in designated PvP zones
No teleport traps
No tricking players into PvP
No combat logging
No using harmful effects in safe zones
2.4 Scamming
Scamming is not allowed. Trades must be fair and clearly agreed upon. Do not rename items to impersonate other items.
2.5 Exploits & Bug Abuse
Forbidden:
Duping
Glitching into bases
Claim bypassing
Exploiting plugin mechanics
Money/job exploits
ANY bug use that gives unfair advantage
All exploits must be reported.

3. Allowed & Forbidden Mods
3.1 Allowed Mods
Optifine / Sodium
Shaders
Performance/FPS mods
Minimaps (NO cave or entity radar)
Fullbright
3.2 Forbidden Mods
X-ray (any form)
Hacked clients
Auto-clickers / Key weights / Macros
Baritone / Bots
Freecam
Any mod that reveals hidden blocks or entities
3.3 Resource Packs
Do not use packs that:
Make blocks transparent
Reveal ores
Give unfair visibility advantages

4. Redstone, Farms & AFK Rules
4.1 Redstone Restrictions
To maintain server performance:
No infinite loops
No 0-tick machines
No lag machines
Machines must be turned off when not in use
4.2 Farm Rules
Allowed:
Semi-automatic farms
Vanilla-based automatic farms that do NOT exploit glitches
Not allowed:
Fully AFK farms
Auto-fishing machines
Farms indistinguishable from autoclicking
Zero-interaction farms
You must be actively doing something when farming.
4.3 AFK Rules
Allowed:
Passive AFK (standing still)
Not allowed:
Key weights
Autoclickers
Movement loops
Software automation

5. Fair Play & Alt Accounts
5.1 No Unfair Advantages
Forbidden:
Glitching into bases
Moving players into restricted areas
Using pistons/water/etc. to bypass protections
Creating infinite resource loops
5.2 Alt Accounts
Alts are allowed, but only for:
Playing casually on a separate account
Playing with friends
Having a separate base or playstyle
However, alts may never interact with your main account.
Not allowed:
Using alts for extra claim land
Using alts to AFK farms
Transferring items, XP, or currency
Helping your main in PvP, progression, or farming
Bypassing punishments
Your accounts must remain completely independent.

6. Economy Rules
6.1 No Economy Exploits
Not allowed:
Duplicating money or items
Abusing shop prices
Exploiting job systems
Using exploits for profit
6.2 Fair Trading
Allowed:
Item-for-item or item-for-money trades
Gift trading
Buying ranks for other players as gifts
Not allowed:
Real-world trading (RWT)

7. VPN Rules
VPNs are allowed but at your own risk.
Because VPN IPs may overlap with banned accounts:
You may be temporarily blocked
You may require verification
You may be flagged by the anticheat
Recommended:
Avoid VPNs unless necessary
If you use one, stick to a consistent region
A VPN is not an excuse for suspicious activity.

8. Redstone Component Limits Per Chunk
To reduce lag and protect server performance, each rank has a limit on redstone components per chunk.

9. Punishments
Breaking rules may lead to:
Warning
Temporary mute
Temporary ban
Permanent ban
Punishment severity depends on context and repetition.
