🧭 Events, Quests & NPCs
Welcome to Sanctum! This guide explains how events, quests, and NPCs work on the server.
📍 NPCs at Spawn
When you arrive at spawn you will see several NPCs (Non-Player Characters).
These NPCs help guide players through events and quests.
What NPCs Do
Right-click an NPC to interact with them
NPCs may give you quests
NPCs may provide information about active events
Some NPCs appear only during special events
If an NPC has an exclamation mark (!) or question mark (?) above their head, they have something for you.
🧭 NPC Tips
Visit spawn regularly to see if new NPCs have appeared
Event NPCs may only exist for a limited time
Some NPCs disappear once an event ends
📜 Quests
Quests are tasks you can complete for rewards.
Most quests are given by NPCs at spawn.
How Quests Work
Accept a quest Right-click the NPC and accept the quest.
Track your progress Your progress is usually visible through a menu or inventory interface.
Complete the task Gather items, visit locations, or perform actions.
Return to the NPC Turn in the quest to receive your reward.
Types of Quests
Individual Quests
These quests track your personal progress.
Community Quests
The entire server contributes toward a shared goal.
Quest Rewards
Possible rewards include:
Items
Currency
XP or progression rewards
Event-exclusive rewards
Some rewards are only available during specific events.
🎉 Events
Events are special periods where the server works toward shared goals.
Events often introduce community quests.
Community Quest Example
Players may be asked to collect resources such as:
50,000 Oak Logs
Stone
Other materials
Each player contributes toward the total.
Progress is usually shown on:
Spawn NPCs
Discord announcements
How to Participate
Check spawn NPCs or Discord
Gather the required items
Deliver them to the NPC or event location
Your contribution counts toward the global goal
